Gender Identity display sequence

I've amended the display sequence of the Gender Identity fields in lookup value ORA_HRX_GB_GENDER_IDENTITY but the values don't appear in the sequence specified

After updating the display sequence, I expected the list of values in the Gender Identity drop-down to appear in the order specified but the order of the values didn't change, am I missing another step in order to get the values to appear in the order I want?
