Is anyone experiencing issues with SmartView add-in menu disappearing?

Summary:

With the latest SmartView upgrade all of our users are experiencing the SmartView add-in disappearing from the Excel menu. All users are on Microsoft office professional plus 2016. Excel SmartView add-in 21.100(build204).

Content (required):

It appears that with ANY other COM add-in also enabled the SmartView add-in stops working, and does not display on the Excel menu bar. We have gone into the registry and made sure that the start parameter is set to 3 to load automatically, rebooted the laptops, installed smartview as administrator, made sure there were no remnants of excel running from the task manager. downloaded the new version and unzipped in a directory before installing.
