Moving/Copying Document Records between Document Types

Summary:

Content (required):

Hi - we have Document Types in existence that we would like to rename. Since there are several existing document records corresponding to these document types, we're unable to rename them without deleting all the document records first.

If I create a new Document Type, is it possible to merge/move/Copy the documents from one Document Type to another ? If possible, we can then move/copy all the document records to the new Document Type and then delete the old one.

Thanks
