How to perform salary min and max validation based on jobs/job families?

Summary:

We need to validate the minimum and maximum salary amounts for our annually paid colleagues. While we are using the Grade rates to define the min and max from the salary basis page, in this case, we would need some control based on the Jobs/Job family.

Content (required):

We have configured the seeded Min-Max functionality using the Grade Rates and then tagged them to the Annual Salary basis. This was done for Annually paid colleagues and the validation was set to Warning as per the requirement. This is currently working as expected.

However, the requirement is now to define separate levels of salary ranges within a particular grade. This means if Grade 1 had the range 20,000 to 60,000 GBP as of current config, we now need Grade 1A, Grade 1B, Grade 1C. These would have rates like 20,000 -30,000 GBP, 30,000-45,000 GBP and 45,000 to 60,000 GBP respectively.

Howdy, Stranger!
