Move from Full HCM to Shared HR install from licensing and Global Single Instance standpoint

Summary:

We have implemented ERP & HCM cloud in 2017 for company A and use one instance to have both these subscriptions. Company A was acquired by Company B and a decision was made to move out of HCM Cloud to another application outside of Oracle.

Question now is whether to renew HCM licenses or not. As we do not use any HR functionalities in Oracle, we do not need to renews. What would be the impact if the HCM subscription is stopped? How does it move from full install to shared install? What implications it would have? If any one has gone through similar exercise, can you pl throw some lightMove from Full HCM to Shared HR install from licensing and Global Single Instance standpoint
