"Fix the Dimension Properties" functionality

Can "Fix the Dimension Properties" functionality eliminate data/journals or members from dimensions? Will it have any impact on the historical data?

Hi,

I have an issue migrating Test to Production environment: the journals wasn't migrated, because the X member in datasource dimension is invalid. X member is invalid because is setting with "reposition only" (X,,,,,,store,,,,,,,,,,,,,,c56b0c74-13e1-4587-8866-cfe64c727821,2812153769445341,X<none>,,,,,,,,,reposition only).

To fix this, it was suggested to use the "Fix the Dimension Properties" functionality (Navigator -> Configuration) and then run the enable features , without enabling any feature.
