Summary:

Export mode in DM when dealing with Planning

Content (required):

Hi, we are using distinct data integration rules for distinct processes.

These distinct processes are loaded to a single/unique member (eg DM_LOAD).

I execute load rule for process A with export option set to Merge, data is loaded to DM_LOAD

I execute load rule for process B with export option set to Replace, previous data is cleared from DM_LOAD and latest data from process B is loaded to DM_LOAD.

Please confirm the following:

  1. Export mode (eg Merge) cannot be enforced
  2. Best practice would be to create specific member for each process? (eg DM_LOAD_A, DM_LOAD_B)?
