Unable to download journal file attachment after removing user

Unable to download files attached to journals

Content (required):

Recently, we removed (deleted) a user from the FCCS due to a changed in role. The user has been responsible for posting journals and attaching supporting documents in the past.

We now have an issue retrieving the supporting journals document from posted journals. The documents were no longer in the system and the attachment links do not work. We lost all supporting journals uploaded by the user that we removed.

We are on version 21.11.76

Is the normal behaviour? I find this very odd if it is.

Anyone experience this before?
