Announcement for customers using New Item Requests (NIR)

Summary:

Run the upgrade scripts to gain maximum benefit from 21D feature: “Control Role Expansion: New Item Request Definition”

If you have existing new item requests that have been processed before 21D release and you plan to opt into the feature, “Control Role Expansion: New Item Request Definition”, you should run the upgrade script to update the new "Owner" column for historical rows of new item request that are in Completed statuses. Also note that if you don’t plan to opt-in now, starting with 22C the opt-n will no longer be optional and this script should be run to populate the “Owner” column.
