Impact of 'Decrement Inventory' functionality on seeded collection process

Summary:

We are implementing the 'Decrement Inventory' functionality where no more shipping/picking will happen to sales orders. Sales orders will be closed without shipping and picking process. And the Transaction type of such sales orders will be 'Direct Sales Order Issue'. There would be no reference to shipments.

In that case, would these sales orders be eligible for collection as shipments history by seeded collection process? We would like to collect these direct sales order transactions using 'Decrement Functionality' since these are valid sales orders to fulfil demands. Kindly confirm if seeded collection process would consider these sales orders for collection as shipments history.
