Is there a way to connect external data sources from NR?

Hi all,

We have a business case where client wants to use NR for ESG reporting. To collect the data, we need to access various data sources other than listed direct data sources. Is there a way to do it? Can we use rest api or EPM integration agent to pull the data directly from external data sources which can be on-prem and cloud? Any response will be appreciated.
