Is it possible to purge a service request in less than 1 day from deletion

Summary:

Is it possible in HR Helpdesk to purge a service request in less than 1 day from deletion. I am updating the delete flag on the service request however can only set the SVC_SR_IN_DELETED_DAYS profile option to 1 day. This will not delete the SR straight away. Is it possible to purge the system of Service Requests straight away?
