Using HSDL to load Element Entries with Lookup Values

I am trying to create a HSDL and have attached the lookup but we have to enter the lookup code rather than the meaning to the spreadsheet

I created the template for the element and attached the lookup values and when I click on the list of values I can see what I would expect but t converts this to the lookup code. This does load but I was hoping to enter the meaning and it would convert to a lookup code on loading. The issue that we have is that we receive this information from others areas in the business so they send it to us with the meaning rather than the code. If we have to convert it before each load this
