what is the replacement for Parent of Relative to Current Point of View offset function in Reports

In Financial Reports I am able to use the combination of a Parent function and a Relative function in a report. i.e. Parent of Relative to Current Point of View offset by -3. This is to be able to select a month for the POV. In this case it would be the last month of a quarter (so I can get a QTD and YTD for it) and then how the last month of the prior quarter as well (and get a QTD and YTD for that period).
