Impact on Capital Projects on cost center changes

Summary:

We are restructuring our organization. And as a part of this exercise, we are replacing the existing cost centers with new cost centers. What is the impact on project based transactions when some of the existing projects need to be capitalized after the cutover date?

Apart from changing the cost centers in the expenditure orgs, is there anything else that needs to be done? Any recommendations are appreciated.
