Termination Date less than and greater than 3 months of current date

Summary:

I'm trying to work out how to write a formula for a Leavers report that will bring back everyone who has left the department in the last 3 months and projected leavers in the next 3 months .

I found the code below in the Advanced SQL Filter of another report which looks at Leavers in the last Previous Calendar Month and as I'm new to Oracle and SQL I could only work out what some parts of this syntax was doing. Can someone please show me which part of the syntx after AND I would need to change to get projected termination dates?
