Unable to import code from higher ODI version to lower

Summary:

While we are trying to import ODI code from higher ODI version to lower, we are facing the error

ODI-14255: Import file has repository version 05.02.02.11 newer than current repository version 05.02.02.09. This import is not supported.

Target ODI version is Build ODI_12.2.1.4.0OCIADWBP_GENERIC_210108.0119

Source ODI version is Build ODI_12.2.1.4.0OCIADWBP_GENERIC_210718.2155

Both are on ODI-Market place.

We are thinking of 2 options.

  1. Upgrade the Target ODI version to latest version using some bundle patch (if available)
  2. Provision new ODI-M version but use the old ODI repository which is already having code so that we will retain the ODI code as is from older version and will be able to import the code from other environment.
