Unable to split the project expenditure item.

Summary:

When Split is performed on a specific expenditure item. below error is received

"The quantity of the split items isn't equal to the quantity of the original item. (PJC-2220563)

You must enter quantities of the split items that equals the quantity of the original item."

Content (required):

The quantity of the original item is 200 and same quantity i.e 200 is entered in the Split line and still it errors that quantity isn't equal to the original item. What should be entereted in the quantity field in order to split the expenditure item? I tried all kinds -200 and + 200 etc.,
