Can I delete valid Grades for Jobs at an effective date using HDL?

I have a basic HDL Template that I have used to mass load valid Grades for Jobs. We recently updated all Jobs, and they now all have new rows with effective date 01/01/2022 as well as their historic rows (in most cases just the single initial creation record. I used this template to successfully load new valid Grades to the Jobs

I am now trying to use the same HDL file to delete the old ones that are no longer valid effective 01/01/2022. The example below will remove the valid Grade, but it does so not only only on the specified valid date, but removes it from any Job effective dates preceding this one.
