Are 8 day (4 On by 4 Off) work patterns / schedules possible?
Summary:
Are 8 day work patterns with days 1 to 4 working 10.5hr elapsed shifts and days 5 to 8 as non-working possible and would this increment the start day each week?

Hi,
We have a requirement for colleagues to work a 4 Day On + 4 Day Off work schedule. This means their starting day will increment each week until week 9 when it is back to a Monday start. My understanding is this would be achieved using an 8 day work pattern with days 1 to 4 working 10.5hr elapsed shifts and days 5 to 8 as non-working.
From everything I've read in Oracle documentation and Connect, this should be possible, but I'm being told it can't be done and work patterns work on multiples of 7 only.
