Is it possible to define a role based validation formula?

Hi Experts,
We have 2 roles for Absence Administration purpose, say Role 1 and Role 2. We have a requirement to make attachment mandatory for an absence while Role 1 admin is adding absence and it should not be mandatory while Role 2 is adding the absence.
We know that we have a DBI ANC_ABS_ENTRS_USER_MODE to differentiate between EMP, MGR and ADMIN. But is there any way to differentiate between user roles within ADMIN mode?
