Summary:

Does Oracle Cloud support Sourcing Rule Split for type Make?

Content (required):

Ours is a Contract manufacturing scenario where we deal with a limited number of contract manufacturers(CM's) to get our finished goods manufactured. We are implementing Supply Planning and Supply Chain Collaboration with contract manufacturing features.

We have a requirement to split the total production requirement between say two vendors in a 60 % to 40% split. Using this split, Supply Plan should generate planned orders with the above split %'s.

I have tried to define a Local Sourcing Rule for a contract manufacturing org say X. At the sourcing rule line level, I have selected Make at. The organization at sourcing rule line defaults from the header and cannot be edited. Since in a contract manufacturing setup, we define a distinct inventory org for each Contract manufacturing, it appears we cannot define a split sourcing rule for Make at looking at the system limitation in line 2.

Howdy, Stranger!
