Summary: We want to configure a routed absence request for an FMLA occurrence that will go to benefits for research and approval, then be opened for the associate to use.


Content (required): We want to be able to have the ability to have associates request time in an FMLA plan for both consecutive and intermittent leaves after benefits have approved the leave and made it available for the associate to enter the leave time. This would require (1) the ability for the associate to pre-request the leave with some eligibility parameters in place but not have the request saved and opened as if it was already approved; (2) the ability for benefits to approve the assignment of the leave AND the designation of the approved number of hours
