Inactive Date on Fixed Asset Book
Summary: Due to tax issues we had to create a new legal entity and business unit for one of our groups and move the existing BU to the new legal entity and business unit. We had issues at month end with the old Asset Book (we were forced to run depreciation)
As mentioned above, we had an issue at month end with an asset books we are no longer using. We had to run depreciation for the Asset Book even though we had suspended depreciation on the existing assets and moved loaded them into the new asset book (we could not transfer). If we add an inactive date to the old asset book would this resolve our issue?
