Issues with SCORM based e-learning for employees using Microsoft Edge, version 89 or older

Is anyone else experiencing issues with employees trying to complete SCORM based e-learning using Microsoft Edge, version 89 or older?

Content (required):

The Oracle website states HCM is compatible with Microsoft version 80+ but we are getting an increasing number of reports of issues from staff using Edge version 89. These include:

  • the course completion not registering
  • the course marking as completed when someone opens an external link within the e-learning (so they haven't actually completed it)
  • OLC registering the course is completely, but then it crashes and reverts back to an 'in progress' status
