How can I pull a terminated employee's last annual salary into an OTBI report?

I'm trying to create an OTBI report to use for balancing my payroll. One of things that I want to do is have a report of terminated employees and their annual salary as of the time they terminated. When I pull in salary or annualized salary, it is returning all of their historical salary amounts added together. I have tried from both Compensation Real Time and Compensation Historical. I also tried using the Salary start and end dates, but those are showing 00/00/00 for these employees. Any ideas on how I can get this information?
