How to retrieve deleted records from Salesforce through ODI

Summary:

We have integrations in ODI which connects to Salesforce(using JDBC), and, extracts data to load into ADW. However, the deleted records on Salesforce are not being read by ODI by default. Is there any additional properties we need to set to extract the deleted records as well?
