Summary:

While configuring data extract from BICCC, we notice that within a particular PVO, only limited columns are selected by default. 

While we can customize and select additional (visible) columns, wanted to know the rationale for having only pre-defined list of columns in BICCC PVO

Logically, performance is one reason that comes to mind, however, wanted to know if the column selection is more driven by requirements of any downstream system (OTBI, OBIA, FAW etc.). This is relevant for data lake kind of scenarios wherein Fusion data is to be loaded using ODI-Marketplace
