Is there the ability to integrate with a registration platform for external learners?

Content (required): Our client is currently looking at using Learning Stream for course registration for external students. Is there the ability to integrate with a registration platform for external learners so that they can sign up through there on their own? Or is the only way to grant external learners access to Oracle is by adding them as non-employees to the system? Any insight would be appreciated.
