My Team - Access to contingent workers

Hi all

We have created a custom role line manager role to delegate some actions to proxies. As a line manager, I can see both my employees and contingent workers and people assigned to my different manager types. With the new role, after delegation, as a proxy, I can only see employees, not contingent workers which are dotted line reports for another manager type.

The person security profiles on both roles are the same, except on the delegated one, which include the option 'Both' for the Hierarchy Content:

I'm not sure if this is linked to a security profile or rather a privilege or role which is missing. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction where to look for this?
