DFF on Contract deliverable on Purchase Order & Deliverable Status

I have a question related to Deliverable which we are attaching at Purchase Order or Negotiation through Contract Template. We need to create DFF on deliverables which I am able to achieve. Now expectation of client that these DFF should be available with Buyer or Supplier to update with additional details through manage deliverable screen. Currently, they can only change the status of deliverables, comments, and attachments.

In addition to that - can we add user define status to track deliverables.

I would like to know if there is any feature that can allow the Buyer to edit DFF from the manage deliverable screen.
