EPM GL Budget write back to GL budget, does this require the all CoA segment defined as dimensions

Summary:

The client wants to create the GL budget in EPM and once approved the budget will be written back to GL. In order to transfer the EPM budget information to the GL budgets do all chart of account segments be defined as a dimension in EPM Planning?

The chart of accounts includes a Spare segment, which will not be defined as a dimension in EPM.
