Employee Self Service - Date of Birth not editable

Hi all

We'd like to make the Date of Birth editable for contingent workers as it's up to them to input this after hiring.

I added privileges:

ORA_PER_VIEW_PERSON_BIOGRAPHICAL_INFORMATION

ORA_PER_MANAGE_PERSON_BIOGRAPHICAL_INFORMATION

And the pencil icon is visible on the screen but when clicking on it, the date of birth stays read-only. Does anyone have an idea on how to proceed please?
