How can I make columns not visible without hiding them?

I'm trying to build a report that will be both viewable through a web browser and exportable to Excel as an ad-hoc. I have years, scenarios, and versions in columns; entities and products - in the rows. Other dimensions are in POV.

There are three types of rows in the report:

Col A | Col B | Col C

Entity | Product | MemberAlias(Entity). |

Entity | Product | MemberAlias(Product). |

Entity | Product | Some text |

Column A and B are the standard member columns, column C is a text column. Dots after MemberAlias are needed so after the export to Excel I wouldn't have conflicting entities or products in two columns.

Howdy, Stranger!
