Do we have REST API to upload Asset Categories in Fixed Assets?

Do we have REST API to upload Asset Categories in Fixed Assets?

Content (required):

We would like to add 145-150 more Asset Categories to existing set of categories already setup and in use. Is there a REST API to load these addition Asset Categories along with other information like Accounting rules ( Asset Cost, Clearing, Depreciation Expense etc Accounts) and Default rules for very single category.

If yes that would be great, appreciate the link to access the same. If not, what else is the best option to mass upload additional Asset Categories.
