Active status in Specialization?

Summary:

Our client end dated the Specialization so that the learners will not be able to search for them.

As a learner they are indeed not able to search for the specialization. But when they checked the specialization in the admin view it its status is still Active even if end dated.

How can this be changed to Inactive?

Specialization has No Sections and no Learning Assignments in them.
