Scheduled resource alert using learningRecommendations resource is not sending alerts when a Learning Specialist creates a recommendation via 'Add Learner' in My Client Groups > Learning.


My organization is trying to proactively replace the event alerts to be removed in 22B for new learning recommendations, with a learningRecommendations resource alert (recommended alternative).

In testing our in-house solution however, it was discovered that the alert was not being sent when the recommendation was created by an administrator - with Learning Specialist access - through My Client Groups > Learning (using the 'Add Learner' button).

The recommendation however could be seen by the Employee in
