Store a Vendor ID code for contingent workers

Summary:

Store a Vendor ID code for contingent workers

Content (required):

Hi experts,

There is a requirement received from HR to store a Vendor ID code for contingent workers.

The best option I would consider is to use the Person Identifiers for External Applications UI, but unfortunately, vendor id codes can be not unique. Is there any way to turn off the uniqueness check for the specific idnetifier type?

What else could be considered based on your experience?

It would be ideal to have a CWK-specific field visible only for contingent workers.

Using the ICP element has been rejected.

I appreciate any input.

Howdy, Stranger!
