Project Process Configurator is not working as expected

Summary:

Hello, I am trying to use the Project Process Configurator in order to get the following process done:

I am having a 2 lines contract- one with free form , one with item based.

The one with item based would represent the discount that i would like to apply whenever the revenue is recognized/ billing is issued for the free form line.

The free form one shall be a rate based invoice/ as incurred revenue, while the item based one shall be an amount based reve/billing method.

I have tried to use the project process configurator in order to define a new invoice method and a new revenue method for the item based line, thus after scheduling the process of "recognize revenue" for the free form line and the revenue is generated in regards to this one, then to schedule "recognize revenue" again in order to generate a separate event via project configurator which will be further recognized.
