How reference conversion unit for commerce attribute in BML ?

Summary:

We want to copy a commerce float attribute that has conversion unit into a text type field (and include the conversion unit) Ex: 200 ft/min. Can this be done and if so, how ?

We have numerous commerce quote level attributes that are float type with conversion group and conversion unit assigned in the attribute. On the UI, our users enter a number and select the conversion unit from a list. How can we reference the selected conversion unit in BML so that we can copy both the float value and the conversion unit into one commerce quote level attribute that is text type ?
