How can we show the original referral source from the candidate's general profile?

If an employee refers a candidate for the first time the employee information shows on the candidate's source info on their general profile and on their first job application. If a recruiter attaches the same candidate to a different job requisition, the source info will change. In OTBI, how can we show that the candidate was originally sourced from an employee referral? I am working off a hires report using the Recruiting Real Time Subject Area.
