HOW TO CLOSE a city under manage geographies with end date a city

Hello,

In addresses under manage geographies' - ‘hierarchy defined’ - where we can view the cities -

how is it possible to CLOSE a city - with END DATE ?

for example city code- 1702 we would like to close it with end date .
