Ability to view Transaction Counts by Period?

Summary:

Towson University may load transaction data for multiple months before starting the transaction matching process. They would like to validate the count of loaded unmatched transactions by month against the source system as part of data validation. The question is if there is a way to filter or display Unmatched transactions by period from the Matching screen? Or if there are better ways to validate transaction counts by period when multiple periods are loaded aside from drilling into the account ID to review transactions by date.
