Information and Question about the removal of legacy layouts and switch to JET UI

Summary of the question:

Back in the 21C release, it was stated that legacy layouts are deprecated and will be removed in the 22C release. However, I see now that in the 22B notes, the removal date is no longer 22C and is instead under review.

I was wondering if there was any documentation or additional information on the process of the removal of legacy layouts when the time comes. I couldn't find anything in the knowledge base.

Some questions:

1. What happens if we still have legacy layouts in use when they are removed? Do the commerce processes and configurators simply stop working/become inaccessible, rendering CPQ useless? Or will they continue to function for users, but we won't be able to make changes to them on the admin side?
