Summary:

The new Learner UI will not be enabled automatically post 22B update. You need to follow certain steps as the new UI is not marked as GA yet. Below are the steps to enable the New Learner Experience. With this update Learner need not to enter a "Keyword" to browse the catalog.

Steps to Enable

Step 1: Configure the environment to use Oracle Search Cloud Service: Set profile option HRC_ELASTIC_SEARCH_ENABLED = Y.

Step 2: Configure Oracle Learning to use Oracle Search Cloud Service:

  • Set profile option ORA_WLF_LEARN_SELFSERVICE_VBCS_ENABLED = Y
  • Set profile option ORA_WLF_ORACLE_SEARCH_LEARNINGITEM_ENABLED = Y
