Issue when changing manager

Summary: We have an issue where our customer cant find himself when doing the change manager transaction.

Scenario: The employe 1 is the manager for both Employee 2 and Employee 3

Employee 1 - Manager

Employee 2 - Employee

Employee 3 - Employee

Employee 2 was about to change manager the Employee 3 and change the manager to himself, however Employee 2 cannot search himself.

Does anyone here has an idea on what could be the reason of this issue? Thanks in advance.
