Price change traceability and Retroactive pricing on Consignment Agreements

edited May 16, 2022 8:51PM in Purchasing 4 comments

Summary:

Prices on Consignment Agreements are revised every month due to correlation with foreign currency. We need to maintain traceability and also honor our negotiation by using the valid price for a calendar month.

Content (required):

New prices in local currency are defined on a monthly basis on our Consignment Agreements to match the value of realized foreign currency finantial hedging. The new monthly price is defined around the 5th day of the month but it should apply to all the goods consumed within the calendar month. Also, we are using different agreements every time the price changes (every month).

Howdy, Stranger!
