BPA expiry alert

We are using Blanket Purchase Agreements to contractually cover the consolidated demand for various projects for a period of time, to secure raw materials and fix prices. However the rate of consumption from these BPAs may change due to changes in project demand. If we get additional projects in that period or project timings shift , we might consume the quantity on the BPA sooner than originally expected. Our Supply Planners manually release planned orders generated by MRP. If the supplier item quantity and requested date is covered by an active BPA, the released planned order is converted automatically to an active Purchase Order.
