How to upload prices for products for a future date?

Summary:

The client is looking out for a functionality in OCC where future effective dated prices for items can be uploaded. To cite to an example, the global price change for certain items happens every 3 or 6 month and currently they have to wait till the last date of the change to upload the new prices, even though the price change information is available well in advance with the users.
