How to hide a property?

Summary: We need to store a property value, however the property needs to be hidden from the users.


Content (required): We are building integration to EDM where data for nodes will come from Oracle EBS.

We are sending items from EBS to EDM in a dimension.

When the new records are being send from ERP to EDM, we want to send inventory_item_id for Item and store that as a property in EDM under Item Dimension. However we do not want the users to see this property, this should only be available when data is being exported out of EDM.
